Dean Arbov
Co-Founder
Dean is a Creative Director and Senior Graphic Designer, a Texan native, and a graduate of Texas Tech University's Graphic Design program. Early in his career, he focused on mastering practical design skills, working on packaging, photography staging, and marketing/e‑commerce materials for small businesses. These experiences taught him how to bring creativity to life while staying grounded in functional design.
Since then, he has led two graphic design departments, significantly improving his proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. He's built logos, stationery, and websites from the ground up, ensuring brand identity is always at the forefront. He is now looking for his next challenge, eager to rebuild or further enhance your organization's graphic design needs.
David Ochoa
Co-Founder
David is an Art Director and Senior Graphic Designer willing to get dirty for the craft. A Texan by roots, based in Colorado, and a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts focused in Graphic Design. He's been described as a modern‑day renaissance man. The deeper he dives into his career, the more fortunate he is to work with outstanding clients and Fortune 500 companies such as Dexcom, Red Robin, PepsiCo, Applebee's, AssetMark, and Indeed. With his eye for branding, typography, hand‑made illustrations, conceptual ideas, and a little razzle‑dazzle of tenacity and skill, he is sure to be your next creative outlet.
To escape it all, you can find him hiking the Rocky Mountains, running a few miles, playing his saxophone, or saving Hyrule on his Nintendo Switch.

From college dreams to professional reality - the story of two designers who turned their vision into a thriving creative agency.
One brisk fall evening in the panhandle of Texas, Dean and David joked while hastily trying to meet school project deadlines. Like many college students, the famous words "we should team up and start a design firm one day" were uttered. The design duo chuckled and made hypothetical plans for the future until both became submerged in the trials and tribulations of post‑college life, a pandemic, and radical optimism. Five years later, feeling wiser than ever, Dean and David discussed the potential of turning that idea into reality. Thus, Grafi Design Works, LLC was born. In November of 2023, the company became official. By January 2024, the smiling logo had been finalized, and the pair was ready to execute and set ablaze the design industry with arms, eyes, and minds wide open.
